Discipleship is part of the DNA of Grace School of Theology, but Disciple-Making, that’s part of our heart. Through the Grace Center for Spiritual Development (GCSD) DISCIPLE-MAKING INSTITUTE, we have created a new home for some of the most effective Disciple-Making leaders and programs we know. As the cornerstone of the Institute’s launch, Pastor Dwight Edwards is joining GCSD as its Pastor-at-Large and moving his primary ministry efforts to the Institute.
In addition to infusing his contagious Disciple-Making passion into the synergistic mix of GCSD Institutes, Dwight will have direct access to and the support of an advancement and marketing team dedicated to developing spiritual leaders in every nation who can teach others about the love of Christ.
We invite you to join us on this high adventure of Disciple-Making! GCSD and Revolution Within have teamed up to not only share Dwight’s impactful teaching worldwide, but to equip spiritual leaders everywhere with tools and training to reach and impact other men and women in our communities, and particularly those in the marketplace. The work of Disciple-Making does not belong primarily to the clergy or paid Christian workers, but to all of God’s people.
We are simply seeking to follow the words of Paul to Timothy:
“And the things that you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same entrust to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” – 2 Timothy 2:2

Our Core Ministries
Dwight’s popular evening Bible studies have become more accessible through GCSD, having attracted hundreds of participants from over two dozen countries around the world using Grace’s cloud-based, interactive classrooms with live video conferencing for the participants.
To broaden Dwight’s reach, Grace On Demand will become the online learning hub for his most popular studies to make them available anytime to anyone, anywhere. His best-known Bible in 90 Minutes course will be showcased as one of the first offerings when Grace On Demand launches in Fall 2020.
Known for discipling and coaching marketplace leaders through his years of work with Club Outreach Ministries and Toolbox Luncheons, Dwight personally walks with small groups of Christian executives into the extraordinary adventure of Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.”
DWIGHT EDWARDS
Pastor-at-Large, GCSD Disciple-Making Institute
Dwight Edwards was personally discipled by Dr. Dave Anderson, the founder and president of Grace School of Theology … trading tennis lessons for Bible lessons.
Dwight is a direct descendant of renowned theologian and pastor, Jonathan Edwards, and has now pastored for over 30 years in various capacities. He ministered for 23 years at Grace Bible Church in College Station, TX, and recently served as the Senior Pastor of Waters Edge Community Church in Houston, Texas. He also served on the staff of Grace Bible Church in The Heights (Houston), and WoodsEdge Community Church (The Woodlands).
A former professional tennis player, he has ministered throughout the United States and many places in the world over the last 35 years. He is also widely sought after as a motivational speaker for businesses, schools, athletic teams, and governmental agencies. He has given presentations at Yale, Princeton, The Air Force Academy, Vanderbilt, Rice, Texas A&M University, and many other schools. He is a graduate of The University of Mary Hardin Baylor and attended Dallas Theological Seminary.
Dwight is a bestselling author. He has written multiple study guides and books, including: Game-Changing Christianity, Revolution Within, Kindling for the Fire, Releasing the Rivers Within, A Tale of Three Ships, Say ‘No’ to Vanilla, and High Octane for the Spirit.
Already one of GCSD’s most popular Bible study leaders and teachers, Dwight’s Revolution Within programs and numerous books and teachings are being integrated into the regular training resources of Grace Center for Spiritual Development.

STEPHEN EDWARDS MEMORIAL FUND
Donations in honor of Dwight Edwards’ son, Stephen, can be given to the Stephen Edwards Memorial Fund at Grace School of Theology. All gifts will be used to honor Stephen by providing scholarships for men and women for training at Grace’s Disciple-Making Institute.

Stephen is best remembered for his broad smile, deep humility, hearty laugh, love for Jesus, incredibly kind and caring heart, and shining optimism. Little children flocked to him; as they did our Lord.
He suffered most of his life with a rare neurological disease that stole his mobility and slowly ravaged the rest of his body. Yet he managed to never become bitter or self-pitying. His first concern was always the person in front of him, the person he was presently engaged with, regardless of their rank or station in life. He was the perfect example of the famous words of St. Francis Assisi, “Preach the gospel at all times. If necessary, use words.”
