WHAT IS A MICRO-CREDENTIAL?
Micro-credentials are compressed but academically rigorous, competency-based learning experiences that allow the learner to demonstrate mastery in a particular area is a short period of time, like 4–6 weeks.
The term micro-credential is often interchangeable with “badge,” but a badge more specifically is the technology companion of a micro-credential that can make the credential verifiable and packed with information about skills and achievements.

You get to choose what you learn! Micro-credentials give you the freedom to learn what you want, without the financial and time commitments of a formal degree.

Micro-endorsements are two or more stackable credentials that can be packaged to earn badges/endorsements during an accelerated timeframe, like 6-months to a year. Badges and endorsements can be stacked to earn certificates.
WHAT ARE MICRO-PATHWAYS?
Micro-pathways are designed to intersect with and even embed in accredited degree programs while earning credentials and endorsements to give these future leaders exposure to the depth and richness of traditional theological training.
Micro-pathways can terminate in non-degree stand-alone credentials … or with an additional academic assignment to demonstrate mastery could be converted into credit hours as part of a credentialed academic degree pursuit.
