#169: A Tale of Three Ships

June 24, 2022
Fulfill the Extraordinary Calling!

We will spend our days on one of three possible approaches to life: the sinking ship, the cruise ship, or the battleship.ย  Our goal should be to choose the ship where we can find the most significance in life. This is to fulfill the extraordinary calling God has for each of us.ย  How do we choose the right ship? ~ ๐ƒ๐ฐ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐„๐๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐๐ฌ

Dwight Edwards (founder and president of Revolution Within) is back in this episode to help us discern the answer, as we discuss his book,ย  ๐€ ๐“๐š๐ฅ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐“๐ก๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐’๐ก๐ข๐ฉ๐ฌ, ๐’๐ž๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐’๐š๐ข๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐„๐ฑ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐จ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ƒ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฆ.ย ย

What Ship Are You In?

Using Columbus and his three ships as a metaphor, Dwight discusses three possible directions in every personโ€™s life. These include the sinking ship, the cruise ship, or the battleshipโ€”respectively symbolizing ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฏ๐š๐ฅ, ๐ฎ๐ง๐›๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ฃ๐จ๐ฒ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ, and ๐ฆ๐ž๐š๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐ข๐ง๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž.ย
