Help Influence Today's Culture for Christ

The Challenge

How do we hear the voice of Christ in a society that is bombarded with cultural changes?
How can we regain the ability to think logically, clearly, and compassionately to help solve the issues of these topsy-turvy times?

Ethics, the workplace, gender identity, race relations, religion, politics, the family, and health and wellness all are rapidly changing with seemingly no foundation of truth to direct that change other than popular culture. It is a throwback to the Book of Judges where “everyone did what was right in their own eyes.” Into this cultural melting pot, the voice of Christ is not only unheard, but unnoticed, unheeded, and at most times derided and defamed.

The Solution

Much has been written about the Seven Mountains of Cultural Influence over the years — religion, family, education, government, media, arts, & business — and entire ministries formed around one or more of these areas of influence. GCSD’s Cultural Institute will create opportunities for people to discuss, contemplate, and apply biblical truths to the cultural issues of the day to help equip the Church to effectively engage in these areas of influence in ways that glorify God.

Help Dr. Fred Chay Launch Grace’s Cultural Institute

Our ultimate goal is to make the Cultural Institute a self-sustaining one that is designed to bring a biblical worldview to the issues we face today and tomorrow.

Funding is needed for the establishment of a team of people who will help in providing the following:

  • Multiple lines of content
  • Ongoing theological training
  • Discussion of different cultural topics
  • A continual list of guest lecturers and subject matter experts
  • Establishment of conferences and seminars
  • A full video production for online training
  • Creation of a weekly interview program
  • Marketing to the pastors and lay leaders
  • The development of a YouTube channel (or some other social media platform)

Please consider helping Fred in launching this endeavor through the Grace Center for Spiritual Development.
