Day 1: God’s Grace Defined
What does the Grace of God REALLY mean? Does it only pertain to our salvation from sin, or is grace something much more significant and magnificent than that? On Day 1 of this 5-Day Challenge, you will discover how God’s free gift of grace changes everything!
Day 2: God’s Grace Developed
How important is God’s grace in our relationship and fellowship in Christ? How does grace affect us in all aspects of our spiritual life? During Day 2 of this 5-Day Challenge, we will focus on answering these questions!
Day 3: God’s Grace Delivered
There are 33 gifts of grace in Christ, wrought only by God. These are gifts that we don’t deserve but were given instantaneously, simultaneously, are eternal, based on the work of Christ, and are irrevocable. On Day 3, you will unpack and enjoy these 33 gifts.
Day 4: Your Questions On Grace, Answered Live!
On Day 4, we will have a Special Event where our main host, Dr. Mark Rae, the Executive Director of Grace Center for Spiritual Development, will hop on a webinar and answer the burning questions you may have about God’s grace.
Day 5: God’s Grace Displayed
Once you understand the gravity of God’s free gift of grace in your life, how should you then live? How can you live in such a way that others know about the grace of God and the message of the gospel when they witness your life? On Day 5 of this Challenge, we will show you how to display God’s abundant grace in your life.
About the Instructor
Dr. Mark Rae is the Vice President of Community Development at Grace School of Theology and the Executive Director of Grace Center for Spiritual Development. He holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degree from Grace School of Theology.
He spent half of his career in sales and marketing and the other half in church and parachurch ministry as an Associate Pastor, COO of an evangelistic ministry, Executive Director of a discipleship ministry, and Lead Minister.
Mark is married to Melissa and they have two grown children, Ryan and Sean, and five grandchildren.
It has been a great week looking into the glory of God, what it is and how we can reflect His glory in our dark world. Our world needs His light, and life and hope! Thanks for all the comments. Your thoughts and stories of God working have been inspiring!
This challenge has been amazing. Strive to continually look at Jesus in a relationship and be transformed to be more and more like Him and reflect His character.
Thank you for presenting a challenge that allowed me to reflect on God’s love, provision, presence, grace, and glory. Moreover, thank you to this community; it is the answer to my prayers. Lastly, thank you, Dr. Mark Rae, for inspiring me through scripture and helping me to develop my relationship with God. Thank you for this next clear step in learning to live my life with purpose.
Through this 5-day challenge, I am being reminded to be more conscious about reflecting God’s glory in my daily life. It may not be an easy feat as I also have many areas of weakness, but I trust that as I surrender even those weaknesses to Him, I will receive His grace in return.
I was more intentional in knowing God. I appreciate how this challenge helps me understand the definition of glory and what it means to me individually.
I learned from this challenge that yielding to the Holy Spirit is necessary for my life to be transformed. I am created in the image of God in order to resemble and reflect Him. Just like the heavens declare God’s glory, I too should reflect His glory (character and nature).
So this challenge today allowed me to experience “God’s love and how He empowers us to extend grace, seek reconciliation, and serve others selflessly”. I thank Him for His great love and mercy towards me by allowing a friend or neighbor to show me selfless love by helping in our time of need.
