Grace works with Campus Ivy, a Third Party Processor. After you have completed the steps above, and are enrolled as a student at Grace, you will be added to the CORE system. This will generate your login information for your student portal with Campus Ivy. There you will receive additional items and verification that need to be completed before packaging.

Student Loan Repayment Information

The Grace School of Theology Financial Aid Office is providing resources to assist you in navigating the restart of student loan payments in collaboration with the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA).

Veterans’ Benefits for Credit-Seeking Students
Veterans’ benefits are available for eligible Grace students. Veterans who have not applied for VA benefits need to go to www.gibill.va.gov and fill out the requested information. Once the student receives their certificate of eligibility, their DD-214, their military transcripts and any transcripts from other schools, the Seminary can proceed with certifying the student under one of our programs.

The Veteran Shopping Sheet is a consumer tool that students and parents use to make comparisons of Costs and Aid offers from different institutions. A students Cost of Attendance (COA) total will always be much higher than a students Direct Costs to the institution because the COA consists of indirect cost items such as, personal allowance, travel expenses, books and supplies. Therefore, when students are making cost comparisons you will need to compare the Tuition and Fees reported on the shopping sheet with the Direct Costs reported from different institutions.

After you are accepted, have identified yourself as a veteran, and Grace School of Theology has received the results of your FAFSA, you will receive your personalized Shopping Sheet. To view an example of the Veteran Shopping Sheet click here.

For more information, contact financialaid@gsot.edu or at 713-897-8295.

Texas Hazelwood Act
The Hazlewood Act is a State of Texas benefit that provides qualified Veterans, spouses, and dependent children with an education benefit at public institutions of higher education in Texas. Because the Hazlewood Act is available only for use at a Texas public college or university, it is not available and does not apply to Grace School of Theology students and programs.

Military Tuition Assistance

We are proud to accept Military Tuition Assistance. To use Military Tuition Assistance at Grace School of Theology. Eligible Service Members must receive approval from an Educational Services Officer (ESO) or counselor within the Military Service prior to enrolling. • Grace Students can also apply for Federal Financial Aid through the FAFSA to help offset costs not covered by Military Tuition Assistance. We do not accept private loans.
  • We do not have priority deadlines for applying.
  • Military students must pay any charges not covered by tuition assistance, or set up a payment plan by Grace’s established due date to avoid late fees and holds for balances due.

GRACE Tuition Assistance Program
