Strengthened Understanding of Salvation through the Lens of Grace
For someone like Gene Ziesel who is actively involved in the ministry of the Word, finding a seminary that teaches the correct doctrine is a must. When Gene learned about Grace School of Theology and how it correctly views the love of Christ in God’s saving act for humanity, he decided to enroll in it.

“I had come to my Free Grace position before I even knew of the Free Grace position. So I was elated when I found out about Grace through a publication I have been receiving from the Grace Evangelical Society.”
Free Grace teaches that assurance of salvation is not based on a person’s developed disciplined behavior or good works. Instead, eternal security lies alone in the love of Christ and God’s promises in the Bible.
Aside from its doctrine of salvation, Gene also put significant consideration on the accessibility of Grace. Since it offers asynchronous classes, it gives him more opportunities to study and serve God simultaneously. Moreover, it is accredited by proper accrediting bodies that ensure students get the quality theological education they need.
According to Gene, since studying at Grace, he learned more about God through an in-depth study of the Scriptures and the help of his professors. Dr. Mark Cancel challenged him to write his own Doctrinal Statement that solidified the things he believed. In his Soteriology class, Dr. Dave Anderson further solidified his view of the grace of God in Jesus Christ. For Gene, these classes greatly impacted his life and ministry.
“The professors were more than gracious with my situation, and the student discipleship groups I participated in were a tremendous blessing. Knowing that others across the globe helped me with their prayers and words of encouragement.”
“I need to give a big shout-out to Robbie Roberts and Kristi Russell of the Alabama teaching site.”
