The formula in Christian life:
New purity + new identity + new disposition= Failure, frustration, and defeat.
Dwight pointed out that even Apostle Paul acknowledged that the change that we want to manifest in our lives and earthly flesh can only be done through the power that we receive from Christ.
We suffer from exerting human efforts in order to change but we don’t need to go through this suffering anymore because the desires of our earthly bodies are already dead to sin and alive in Christ. God’s power residing within us is more than enough for us to live a victorious and abundant life.
