“And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,”
-Hebrews 12:1a
We are exhorted to perseverance.
Last November 19, 2020, in the annual Student Appreciation week, Dr. Dave Anderson encouraged students of Grace School Of Theology to press on and finish the race because there is joy in finishing. He also reminded us that we should let perseverance complete its work in our lives for us to mature as Christians.
“See it through!”Those who have been Dr. Mark Haywood’s students and colleagues know that this may be his favorite phrase. He constantly motivated everyone to continue amidst the challenges and see it through.
Dr. Juan Sánchez also emphasized that wherever we are in the world, God has placed us there to shine bright and be the light in that location. We can combat the pandemic by blessing others wherever we are and by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The event was filled with excitement as the winners from the trivia questions were announced. Finally, the much-awaited Grace students showcased their unique and noteworthy talents.
Truly the Lord has crowned the year with His bounty and blessed us with talents and perseverance to endure the race set before us.
