Beatriz was initially searching for a school to further her biblical studies, encouraged by their pastor. However, as a full-time employee, she found the setup of other schools impractical. One day, while selling Bibles online, she met another seller who was attending Grace. Intrigued by the flexibility and positive experience shared by this fellow student, Beatriz explored Grace’s offerings and shared the information with Jerome. “The setup really worked for her, even though she’s a full-time entrepreneur,” Beatriz recalls.

Jerome, also encouraged by their pastor to deepen his theological education, found the Master of Divinity program at Grace to be an ideal fit. “Since I’m a preacher, I wanted to further my studies in relation to the word of God and how to become a church leader. The setup is really nice and affordable, which made us both choose Grace,” Jerome explains.

During the pandemic, Beatriz enrolled at Grace as the remote setup was convenient without the need to commute. However, when she was required to return to the office, balancing full-time employment and studies became challenging, leading to a brief hiatus. She felt discouraged but appreciated the support from the Grace team, who encouraged her to take one module at a time. “Attending in-person meetings was really encouraging for me because I realized that many people have troubles—it’s not just me,” Beatriz reflects.

Jerome found similar encouragement through advice on course selection and tuition management, feeling grateful for the guidance provided by Grace. “God is really gracious to us for giving us this school—this seminary, and we hope that we continue in our journey here—in our studies,” he shares.

The flexible schedule at Grace has been particularly beneficial for Beatriz, allowing her to manage both employment and studies. She completes assignments during breaks, types them on her phone, and reviews recordings of classes she couldn’t attend. “The accessibility and flexibility of the setup are perfect for my situation,” she says.
