What do you like the most about teaching at Grace?
I celebrate seeing my students appreciate the importance of Scripture in their lives and ministry.
What is your most unforgettable experience as a Grace professor?
I was teaching the Pentateuch in Nepal when, during a discussion on the significance of the Ten Commandments in Exodus, a student asked whether he should continue making Buddha statues and idols as a livelihood. My response was direct and based on biblical truth, which is not bound by culture or time. I advised him to pray to God for His answer. The next day, he boldly announced in the classroom that he had decided to quit his profession. After a brief pause, another student who was obviously engaged in the same trade also announced the same decision.
How do you embody the love of Christ in your teaching ministry?
I see each student in my classroom as an object of my ministry, to which God has called me. I realize that students learn best when I share my knowledge with genuine concern for their intellectual and spiritual needs.
