John Dillon Family - Grace is a Family

“When you graduate, you’re not kicked out of the family, you are still part of the family. Grace should be our family going forward.”

He and his wife Trisha greatly appreciated how Grace immediately became their family back when they barely knew anyone in the Texas area. The staff, students, and faculty were always ready to pray with them and be present during difficult times.

Through the Grace Discipleship and Mentoring Program, students have an opportunity to fellowship together with people from different parts of the world, to connect not just for insights on their classes, but also share their lives with one another by encouraging and building each other up (1 Thessalonians 5:11).

“We’re still be able to feel that bond even if we’re not in the same part of the world,” John shares about finding a family in the Student Discipleship Groups at Grace.

“I believe that Grace School of Theology is great. We have a great faculty and mission. I love the school. I want to make a great alumni base that will unhesitantly elevate one another even past graduation. I really look forward to working with people to help make the vision of alumni supporting Grace and helping make a difference for God across the world.”
