Leonid’s life took a defining turn when he decided to enroll in Grace School of Theology’s Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. Reflecting on this pivotal choice, he learned how the program reframed his worldview and deepened his understanding of the Scripture. Through his studies, he discovered practical ways to integrate biblical truths into his daily life, from managing his business, nurturing his family, and making an impact to his church community. “The training helped me reject wrong concepts and affirm the truth,” Leonid explains. This clarity empowered him to navigate life’s challenges with wisdom and purpose.

Starting from 2009 when he became a Christian, he joined Gospel ministry a year later, serving as a full-time missionary in Kostanay, Northern Kazakhstan. Despite his dedication, he often found himself searching for deeper spiritual nourishment, as answers to his questions and challenges seemed elusive among peers and church leaders. His hunger for growth led him to Grace in Central Asia, where he found not only knowledge but also practical skills to enhance his ministry.

Today, he balances his role as a Chief Financial Officer with his active involvement in church ministry. His professional work supports his family and ministry, while his leadership at the Resurrection of Christ Church allows him to share his passion for God’s Word.

He serves as a teacher and preacher, leads a small group, and supports his wife Natalya as she co-leads the church’s teenage ministry. Together, they are a dynamic team, committed to nurturing the next generation of believers.

Leonid credits Grace in Central Asia with equipping him to prepare impactful sermons and lessons. His professors’ rich experience and encouraging mentorship have greatly improved the quality of his teaching and preaching. “The audience appreciates my ministry, and their positive feedback encourages me,” he says. Leonid believes that high-quality theological and leadership training is vital for anyone serving in ministry in today’s world.

With an overwhelming influence of Muslim culture, the country needs the hope-filled message of the gospel, and our students are strategically positioned to take Kingdom ground.
