Pastor Jiwan Lama’s journey highlights the profound impact of theological education and mentorship. Hailing from Harnamadi, Hetauda, Nepal, Pastor Jiwan had been faithfully serving as a pastor for over 20 years. Despite planting more than fourteen churches and dedicating his life to ministry, he often felt the weight of a missing foundation—formal theological training.

Grace School of Theology provided me with solid biblical teaching and now I feel more confident and equipped for my calling.
This changed when he discovered Grace School of Theology’s Nepal extension. For Pastor Jiwan, it wasn’t just an opportunity to study; it was an answer to prayer. “Grace provided me with solid biblical teaching,” he shared, reflecting on the impact of his education. “Now I feel more confident and equipped for my calling.”
But Pastor Jiwan’s story didn’t stop at personal growth. Inspired by 2 Timothy 2:2, which calls believers to teach others who can teach still others, he embraced the principle of multiplying leaders. Through his mentorship, he encouraged Dawa Lama, a fellow Nepali believer, to join Grace. Today, Dawa is pastoring a church, continuing the ripple effect of discipleship and leadership development.
This journey of growth and multiplication began with the mentorship of Pastor Bishwa, who first guided Pastor Jiwan in his faith and ministry. Now, as Jiwan and Dawa lead in their respective roles, they represent a growing network of second and third-generation leaders—living proof of God’s work through dedicated mentorship and theological education.
Grace’s commitment to accessible and transformative training equips leaders like Pastor Jiwan to impact not just their communities but entire generations. His story reminds us that education isn’t just about knowledge—it’s about equipping the called to multiply God’s kingdom.
From the hills of Nepal to the global stage, Pastor Jiwan’s testimony embodies Grace’s mission to develop spiritual leaders for the advancement of the gospel in every nation.
