When I look back and compare myself to who I was before studying at Grace, I deeply appreciate the faith and growth it has brought into my life.
Although they have no children yet, Magbis and Nelson share a deep commitment to their spiritual family. Their full-time ministry began the same year they were called to their church, a pivotal moment that also marked the start of their theological education at Grace School of Theology.
“Grace has been a great blessing to us,” Magbis reflects. Her gratitude for the opportunity to study Theology is matched by the profound impact it has had on her faith and ministry.
From the very first course, Spiritual Life, Magbis found her heart and mind profoundly challenged. The teachings stirred her desire to share what she was learning, particularly about Christian character and the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Recently, she realized this aspiration by leading an in-depth study with the women in her church, revisiting and teaching the lessons that had transformed her own spiritual walk.
“When I look back and compare myself to who I was before studying at Grace, I deeply appreciate the faith and growth it has brought into my life,” she shares. This transformation, she notes, has not only enriched her ministry but also equipped her to inspire others to deepen their relationship with God.
Magbis prays for continued opportunities to serve and to share the abundance of blessings she has received through her education. Her prayer extends to Grace, that its mission will reach more brothers and sisters in need of theological training around the world.
Magbis’s story is a beautiful illustration of how equipping one leader can inspire and empower an entire community. Through her studies at Grace, she has not only grown in her own faith but has also become a vessel of blessing for others, embodying the school’s mission to develop spiritual leaders for the advancement of the gospel.
