Grace in Action
Sowing Seeds of Hope
In the heart of Cambodia, a country marked by its tragic past and resilient people, Dongsoon and Inoak Kim are building a legacy of hope rooted in the Word of God. With over 20 years of mission work behind them, the Kims’ journey took a transformative turn in 2019 when they began their theological studies at Grace School of Theology.

I am applying what I learned at Grace to my life here, teaching and discipling these young people to obey the Word and spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.
“I wanted to teach the Bible to Cambodian youth, but I knew nothing,” Dongsoon reflects. Their desire to equip young people with a deep understanding of Scripture led them to Grace, where they found the tools and support to pursue their calling.
The impact of their education has been profound. Through studies in the Old and New Testaments, systematic theology, and apologetics, the Kims have gained a deeper understanding of how to minister effectively in a culture where Hinduism and Buddhism are intricately woven together. This knowledge has enabled them to translate and distribute Christian books across Cambodia’s 25 provinces, supporting missionaries and strengthening the church.
Beyond distributing resources, the Kims are hands-on in their ministry. They now live in the Cambodian countryside with 27 students, fostering a community where love for God’s Word takes center stage. Together, they read, memorize, and live out Scripture daily—a practice that has become the foundation of their faith and ministry.
“Living with a large family is not that easy,” Dongsoon admits. “But I am applying what I learned at Grace to my life here, teaching and discipling these young people to obey the Word and spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.”
Their vision is as inspiring as it is rooted in faith. “I sincerely hope that green trees of righteousness will grow in this land devastated by killing fields,” Dongsoon shares. “It was a land of death, but I believe that Jesus, the living hope, will save us.”
The Kims’ ministry exemplifies Grace’s mission to equip spiritual leaders for global impact. From teaching theology to discipling young believers, they are transforming Cambodia into a land of hope, planting seeds of faith that will bear fruit for generations to come.
